Prerequisites:
You must have accepted Christ into your life as Lord and Savior.
You must attend the Baptism Instructional Class.
You must be 10 years of age or older.
The Baptismal Instructional Class and rehearsal is scheduled for TBD. Everyone getting baptized must receive this very important instructional class that will teach candidates the significance of water baptism according to the Word of God.
Things to bring:
1- large towel (preferably beach size) to wrap in after coming out of the baptismal pool
1 - shower or swimming pool cap to protect ladies hair (optional) 1 change of clothes and undergarments
1- pair of shower shoes/flip flops or socks
1- plastic bag to place wet clothes and towel in after baptism
WHAT YOU MUST WEAR DURING THE BAPTISM
Comfortable, loose fitting clothes (ex: sweat pants and large t-shirt). Please avoid wearing light colors and white as they become sheer when wet.
Required for women- Bra and a shirt that reaches your waist. Shoulders/ stomach not visible. Required for men- Round neck short sleeve t-shirt. Shoulders/stomach not visible.
Each candidate will receive a Certificate of Baptism from Life Covenant Christian Ministries. We encourage you to invite your family, friends, and co-workers to your baptism. It is a very special occasion that allows you the opportunity to share with others your identification with Christ.
