PCA Handbook Acknowledgement
This PCA Handbook is an important document intended to help you become familiar with Bridgeway Home Healthcare Service and your role as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA It provides general guidelines, expectations, and policies related to PCA services and responsibilities. This document is not a contract and is not intended to cover every possible situation. Individual circumstances may require additional clarification or specific direction. Because our operations and regulations may change, the content of this Handbook may be updated at any time, with or without prior notice, at the sole discretion of Bridgeway Home Healthcare Service.
Please read the statements below carefully and sign at the bottom to acknowledge your receipt and understanding of the PCA Handbook.
1. I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the Bridgeway Home Healthcare PCA Handbook and understand that it is my responsibility to read and familiarize myself with the policies, procedures, and responsibilities outlined within.
2. I understand that the policies, procedures, and benefits described in the Handbook may change at the discretion of Bridgeway Home Healthcare Service at any time.
3. I understand that my employment as a PCA is considered at-will, which means either I or Bridgeway Home Healthcare Service may end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.
4. I understand that no representative of the Company, other than the Administrator, has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment for a specified period or to make any agreement contrary to the "at-will" employment relationship. Any such agreement must be in writing and signed by the Administrator.
5. I understand that the Handbook includes important policies specific to PCA services, including but not limited to:
- Covered and Non-Covered PCA Services
- PCA Program Policies and Procedures
- Timesheet and Activity Documentation
- PCA Training and Evaluations
- Client Care Plans and Emergency Protocols
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Prevention
- Safety Practices and PPE Requirements
- Incident Reporting and Grievance Process
