Dear Chair and Members of the Board of Supervisors,&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;I am writing to express my strong support for the Upper Westside Specific Plan.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Sacramento is facing a housing shortage that demands real solutions. Upper Westside delivers, providing thousands of new homes, including affordable options, in a location close to jobs, transit, and existing infrastructure. This is exactly the kind of smart, responsible growth our region needs.&#13;&#10;The plan reflects a balanced approach. It preserves hundreds of acres as agricultural buffer and open space, incorporates habitat protections, and includes modern, sustainable infrastructure and transportation options designed to reduce long commutes and emissions.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Importantly, this project helps avoid the very sprawl we should all be concerned about—by focusing growth near the urban core instead of pushing it farther out.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;After years of study and public review, it’s clear: this is the right project in the right place at the right time.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;I respectfully urge you to vote yes on Upper Westside.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;
