 Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at the Cannelton Heritage Festival.  Please complete the form fields below and submit your application along with payment.

Print Form and mail to 527 Saint Louis Avenue, Cannelton, IN 47520 along with check made out to Renew Cannelton, Inc. for total amount due.

About the Event

The Cannelton Heritage Festival is a one-day festival held on the second Saturday of October.  The event is an Arts & Crafts Festival held in the Cannelton Community Center from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Artisans and craftsmen will display and sell their hand-crafted items.  In addition to Arts & Crafts, there will be music, good food, carnival games and much more.

To qualify as a Vendor, items must be handmade.

Admission is free.

Important Vendors Information

Upon arrival, please report to Renew Cannelton, Inc.'s booth to check in and get the location of your booth.  Vendors may begin setting up at 6:00 am and should arrive no later the 8:30 am.  Please allow yourself enough time to unload and be setup by 9:00 am.

The Festival Committee will limit the number of vendors selling the same type of merchandise or food. If more than one vendor wants to sell the same type merchandise or food, preference will be given to the vendor returning the completed Vendor Application along with payment. 

Booth spaces are 12' X 12'.  Electric and water are available but access to electricity is limited.

Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, etc.  INDIANA FIRE CODE REQUIRES THAT A FIRE EXTINQUISHER WITH A CURRENT INSPECTION TAG BE PRESENT IN THE BOOTH EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT COOKING OR HAVE AN OPEN FLAME.  ANY VENDOR WHO WILL BE DEEP-FRYING IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A CLASS K FIRE EXTINGUISHER WITH A CURRENT INSPECTION TAG PRESENT IN THE BOOTH.

The Festival Committee will determine booth location, unless prior arrangements are made.  Vendors must have their own liability coverage.  Renew Cannelton, Inc. and the Festival Committee are not liable for Vendors.

Hold Harmless Agreement

On the date Vendor signs this Vendor Application, an agreement is made by and between Renew Cannelton, Inc., referred hereinafter as "Sponsor" of the Cannelton Heritage Festival to be conducted October 11, 2025 and Vendor.  Whereas Sponsor is organizing the Cannelton Heritage Festival to be held on October 11, 2025; Whereas Vendor has entered into an agreement with the Sponsor to provide products in connection with the Cannelton Heritage Festival event, without presenting a certificate of liability insurance for itself and its agents; And Whereas, Sponsor will allow said products to be provided upon the express condition that Vendor indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor for any claim, demand or liability as a result of service or product and waive any claims of liability against Sponsor; NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, and of other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, it is agreed as follows:  1.  Vendor and its agents shall be permitted to provide products for the Cannelton Heritage Festival event, and agrees to voluntarily assume the risk of any injury or damage to the person or property of the Vendor or its agents, employees or assigns and expressly waives any claims or demands against Sponsor for any acts or omissions of Sponsor or their agents, employees or assigns causing said injury or damage.  2.  It is understood and acknowledged between the parties that Sponsor is not liable for any injury or damage to Vendor or its agents, employees or assigns, and further that Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor from any claim, demand, cause of action or liability including reasonable attorney fees and costs, resulting from Vendor providing products at said Cannelton Heritage Festival.  If Sponsor shall be subject to any claim, demand or penalty, or become a party to any suit or other judicial or administrative proceeding by reason of the services or products provided by the Vendor, its agents, employees or assigns, or any act or omission with respect to said services or products, then Vendor shall indemnify and hold Sponsor harmless against all judgments, settlements, penalties and expenses, including attorney fees, court costs and other expenses of litigation or administrative proceeding, incurred or imposed on Sponsor in connection with the investigation or defense relating to such claim, litigation or administrative proceeding, and, at the election of Sponsor, Vendor shall also defend Sponsor.

By signing the Vendor Application and submitting it for consideration, I give permission to Renew Cannelton, Inc. and the Festival Committee to use photographs or me and/or my booth for promotional purposes.
