Retreat Agreement & Liability Waiver

By registering for and participating in the Loom and Bloom one-day women's retreat, I agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that all activities--including embodiment, movement, meditation, art therapy, spiritual practices, and cacao ceremony--are entirely voluntary. I choose to participate with full awareness and responsibility for my own well-being.

2. Personal Responsibility

I acknowledge that this retreat may include physical movement, emotional processing, and inner reflection. I affirm that I am physically and emotionally capable of participating, and I take full responsibility for listening to my body, honoring my limits, and opting out of any activity if needed. I will inform the facilitators of any injuries, limitations, allergies, or special needs ahead of time.

3. Not a Substitute for Medical or Mental Health Care

I understand and agree that the hosts and facilitators of this retreat are not licensed medical doctors, psychologists, or mental health professionals, and that the offerings provided are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or treatment. If I am experiencing any physical or mental health conditions, I agree to consult with my licensed healthcare provider before attending the retreat or participating in any of its activities.

4. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

I understand that any activity--physical, emotional, or energetic--carries inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all risks and hereby release and hold harmless the facilitators, venue, volunteers, and organizers of the Loom & Bloom retreat from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages that may arise as a result of my participation.

5. Confidentiality & Sacred Space

I agree to honor the vulnerability, privacy, and lived experiences of all participants. What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. I will show up in respect, compassion, and integrity toward myself and my fellow sisters.

6. Personal Belongings

I understand that I am responsible for my own belongings and that the organizers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

7. Non-Refundable Payment Policy

I understand that all payments made toward this retreat are non-refundable, as retreat planning requires significant preparation, space-holding, and investment in advance. If I am unable to attend for any reason, I agree to notify the organizers as soon as possible. I understand that my payment may be transferable to another woman, at the discretion of the Sisters of the Loom team.
