This is a great way to improve your shooting skills and meet like-minded individuals who share a passion for the Second Amendment. You can always socialize after shooting. As always, this will be a family-friendly atmosphere, and shooters will be encouraged to help each other out. An 8-week league. CMP Chapter membership is not required but appreciated.
Tournament Classifications:
Open: Handgun: Scopes, Optical sights, Light gathering scopes, Muzzle brakes and Barrel weights permitted. No active projection on Target.
Limited: Handgun: Iron Sights, Adjustable & Fiberoptic Permitted. No Optical or Electronic Sights, No Compensators, No barrel weights, No enclosed handgrips
Classes within Divisions: Adult / Senior (65+). (Must have 5 participants in the class for award)
Targets will be caliber specific. 38/9/40 or 45/45 colt/50AE/50S&W. Two targets will be required: Accuracy / Defensive.
Course of Fire:
a. All pistol firing yardage/details will be dictated on each target for both accuracy and defensive.
b. Competition may be shot 2 handed.
c. Senior (65+) Competition may be shot from seated position with no part of the body may touch the table.
d.Weekly Match:
1. 10 Shots Accuracy (one ten shot string, 5 minutes for the string).
2. 10 Shots Defensive (maybe timed and require magazine change).
