MHM offers a free store with basic necessities, community resources, coaching support, and potential financial aid for families with children under 18, legal guardians, or those newly pregnant residing in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Our mission is to help families build stability and self-sufficiency in times of hardship.

If you are not a current MHM client, and meet our requirements, we suggest you make an appointment to become a client. You can still complete this form to:

*To be considered for financial assistance from MHM you must:
- Be a registered client with us for at least 4 months and be active, meaning you’ve
shopped or attended a class in the last 24 months.
- Have experienced an emergency, such as loss of wages, illness, loss of reliable
transportation, or accident.
- Completed your CARES Program
- Provide a plan outlining how you will make your payments going forward.
If you do not meet that criteria, your request will not be approved but, we will send
you other resources.
