Silent Theatre Festival is a performing arts festival based in Bangkok, Thailand, dedicated to showcasing a wide variety of non-verbal performances for audiences of all ages.

We welcome performances that speak without words, works that are accessible, imaginative, and engaging for children, families, young people, and general audiences to enjoy together.

For our 2026 edition, performances in Silent Theatre Festival will take place at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) from 21 to 22 March 2026.
Workshops and other creative exchange activities will be arranged at suitable venues, based on the nature of the work and mutual agreement.

Multiple artists will take turns performing on the same stage, and the running order of performances will be curated and scheduled by the festival team.
Each artist must commit to performing once per day throughout the festival period.

Performance days: 21 - 22 March 2026
Workshop days: 23 - 29 March 2026
(Workshop dates will be confirmed in discussion with each selected artist.)

Please select your preferred option(s) below that best reflects your arrangement for participating in Silent Theatre Festival 2026.The festival offers two pathways of support.

👉 Please note: All selected productions are required to perform two shows during the festival period (one show per day).

Option 1: Full Festival Support

The festival will provide the following:
✱ Round-trip international flight tickets (economy class)
✱ Ground transportation in Bangkok
✱ Accommodation during festival period
✱ Daily meals during festival period
✱ Performance fee (as proposed by the artist)


Option 2: Independent Funding Arrangement

If you are receiving financial support through national or international grants, government funding, cultural institutions, embassies, or other organizations, and do not require the festival to cover international travel or performance fees:
The festival will provide:
✱ Ground transportation in Bangkok
✱ Accommodation during festival period
✱ Daily meals during festival period.
(The festival can provide supporting documents such as letters of invitation, confirmation of participation, or project outlines to assist with your funding process upon request.)

Silent Theatre Festival also organizes activities beyond stage performances to encourage creative exchange and inspire artistic growth. We provide workshop opportunities for local participants residing in Thailand.
