The Nanette K. Raduenz Award is awarded every other year to the judicial officer or former judicial officer who has gone above and beyond to improve the judiciary and who:
- Demands civility and professionalism in his or her court, especially in family and/or juvenile cases
- Exhibits high moral character and high ethical standards
- Protects the rights of all involved in family and/or juveniles cases, especially the rights of minor children
- Works diligently to elevate the standards of the judiciary and the legal profession as a whole
- Encourages respect and appreciation for the rule of law and for the courts as a whole
- Embodies the core values set forth in the judicial oath
