Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Love Your Block! Please fill out the below form and specify which volunteer opportunity you would like to attend. We will reach out to confirm attendance and/or provide updates as the date approaches.
Love Your Block needs many helping hands along the way to complete our neighborhood improvement projects. We sincerely appreicate doing your part to help our community, block by block.

Please note while it is not mandatory for volunteers to stay for the entire duration of the event, we do appreciate following through with your committed hours. Any necessary cancellations should be sent to ejohanns@albanyny.gov immediately.

Volunteers will be provided with all necessary tools and materials for required tasks. Reminders will be sent out 24 hours in advance. The majority of events will only be cancelled due to inclement weather and will still occur in chance of or occurrence of light or intermittent rain.

By signing this document you are agreeing to potentially come in contact with hazardous items and acknowledge that you understand the health and safety risks that volunteering may pose. You will not fault the Love Your Block program for any mishandling of these objects after receiving designated trainings and will immediately report any issue or injury to either a Love Your Block team member or Volunteer Lead and fill out an incident report. If an emergency situation occurs that prevents you from volunteering, you will report immediately to either a Love Your Block team member or Volunteer Lead.
