Do you know an individual, team, organization, or business in Pierce County that deserves to be recognized for their extraordinary ability to make children and families feel encouraged, uplifted, and supported? If so, nominate them today for the 2025 Champions for Children Award!
Each year we invite the community to nominate those special people who are committed to building systems and programs that support all children and families, especially those impacted by systemic oppression. Who do you know that is making a difference in our community? Who is always going that extra mile to show they care in unique and meaningful ways?

Nominations will be accepted through JULY 31st, 2025. Up to 5 nominees will be selected as Champions for Children and recognized with a surprise award between August and October 2025.

Champions are all around us – volunteers, groups, businesses, mentors, friends, neighbors, and advocates. Please explain how your 2025 Champion for Children nominee goes above and beyond in their daily job or organization’s mission to support children and families in Pierce County. We encourage you to speak from the heart and provide specific examples of how they make children and families feel encouraged, uplifted, and supported. Please provide as much detail as you can as the more information we have, the sooner we can decide on amazing winners and recognize ALL the incredible work they do!
