Important note:
We have reached our 20-school limit. While we will still accept your show registration, we will put your school on a waiting list. We will seek adjudicators to cover your show. If we can find a full team of adjudicators, we will then accept your show into our program for this year.
Please note: it will be easier to accept shows with one cast than those with two. We will also be more likely to be able to adjudicate your show on a weekend when we don't have several other shows scheduled.
Here’s our schedule from February 19 to April 11, our last date for adjudication: February 19-21: 3 productions February 26-March 1: 3 productions March 6-8: 6 productions March 12-15: 3 productions March 19-22: 5 productions March 26-29: 3 productions April 2-5: 3 productions April 9-11: 1 production
We look forward to working with you and your students!

The 2026 Enchantment Awards will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Popejoy Hall. The deadline to adjudicate your show is April 11, 2026.
Registration Deadline
January 23, 2026 or two months prior to your opening date, whichever is earlier.
2025-2026 Registration
List one or two faculty contacts to receive information from our program. Those you list here will be responsible for alll communications between our program and yours. We will list you in our program and elsewhere using the contact name(s) you provide.
Since your show is not on the Jimmy Awards approved show list, we need to review a few things with you. You will still be allowed to register for the Enchantment Awards. However, your show must ultimately be approved by the Jimmy Awards to be included.
If you would like us to request your preferred show be added to the Jimmy Awards list, please complete the information below. We will contact you to discuss the process and review your options with you.
Please do not attempt to contact the Jimmy Awards directly. All requests from New Mexico schools be directed through our organization.
Each eligible cast member must have scores from three different judges. We will assign a unique trio of judges for each cast's performances. If you intermix cast members, please make sure there are at least two performances where the two casts perform as distinct units so we can guarantee we will have three scores for each nominated student.
We will not communicate directly with your student director(s). You may share any communications with them as you choose.
We will contact you later to get the name(s) of your student director(s).
Retention of Rental Materials
Please inform the royalty company who granted you the rights for your musical that you are participating in a regional awards program for the Jimmy Awards. Ask to retain your rental materials so that you have music if you are chosen as a finalist for one of our three production awards and get to perform during the Enchantment Awards. Typically, they will grant that permission.
Orientation
We will send you a link to orientation videos that will educate your students about the program, the adjudication process, and the Jimmy Awards. Please schedule 30 minutes to review this with your entire cast and crew for your show. The video(s) will take no more than 15-18 minutes. You can use the rest of the time for questions. Answer any you can. Send us any you want us to answer.
Interns
We have intern positions available for your students: assistant stage manager (2), production assistants (2-3), lighting intern, sound intern, costume intern, video intern, and music direction assistant. They join the production at the first rehearsal and work with our professional staff as well as the Popejoy staff.
You can nominate students to those positions now or later. If now, use the link to the nomination form in your registration confirmation email. Your student will receive an email letting them know you have nominated them and asking them to apply.
