This class is great for any youth wanting to babysit. Skills that will be learned include leadership skills, problem solving, identifying hazards, diapering, feeding, interview skills, preparing a resume, understanding life threatening emergencies, conscious choking, rescue breathing, basic first aid, and applying direct pressure to stop bleeding.

COST: The cost for the class is $130. There is a $40 non-refundable deposit that is payable to reserve your spot. ***This price includes a Red Cross Certification Card, Red Cross Babysitter's Training book, and a cinch babysitting bag.

OPTIONAL CPR ADD-ON: This add-on includes a blended learning followed by a skill session from 6 PM - 7 PM. We recommend registering two weeks in advance for the CPR add-on, although this is not required, so that the child has enough time to complete the 3-hour blended learning portion. The CPR add on comes with an Adult / Pediatric CPR / AED / First Aid 2-year certification card. The fee for the CPR add-on is an additional $70.

There is an optional $70 CPR add on. There is a blended learning and then a skills check-off from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The participants will be given a Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR / AED / First Aid certification that is valid for 2 years.
