Highly Sensitive Person Attachment Response Mastery Symptomology Your body is wise. When something feels off or overwhelming, it responds the best way it knows how-through patterned behavior like Flight, Fight, Fawn, Freeze, or Fracture. Its not your fault - it is simply neurology - it happens before cognition. These are not signs of failure or dysfunction; they are adaptations. And most of the time, they are doing the heavy lifting of unexpressed grief stuck in the body. Grief for what never happened, what was too much, what got missed, or what your nervous system had to give up just to keep going. The HARMS framework helps us name these responses with compassion so they can finally be seen, felt, and-when ready-released.

DECODE Ecosystem Elements 1. Safety & Basic Needs - Safety risk - Housing - Financial resources - Independent living capacity - Transportation - Nutrition

    - Physical health & pain management - Mental health - Emotional or behavioral presentation - Sleep - Sensory input assessment - Diagnosis disconnect? 3. Relational Context - Vocational functioning - Legal involvement - Social functioning - Boundaries with energy vampires? - Developmental history - Sexual development - Significant other/parenting status - More than human relationships status 4. Identity & Meaning - Spiritual identity - Cultural identity

  • - Ontology - Cultural privilege or marginalization (ADDRESSING model items) - Ability & likelihood discernments - Grief and acculturated behavior 5. Cognitive & Structural Context - Recreation - School/education history - Self-assessment

    - ACEs score - Acute trauma list - PCEs awareness

    6. Epistemology & Attachment - Attachment system health - Client's epistemology and self-concept (ontology) - Assessor bias and parallel process 7. Systemic Layer - Daily media intake - Assessor's self-reflection within the dialogue - Bias-aware cybnetics 8. Neurobiological Style & Identity Navigation - Neurodivergent traits and masking - Executive function capacity - Sensory preferences - Self-regulation patterns - Relationship to diagnostic labels - Subtle sensory attunement (e.g., intuitive, experiential, and often unquantifiable understanding/impressions) - Clair abilities attunement - Perception of others' unspoken pain, emotional suppression, or suffering in proximity - Energetic permeability or 'field absorption' (feeling what's around or between) - Overwhelm triggered not by content but by coherence loss in

the environment (e.g., too much noise, fragmentation, injustice)

    9. Somatic Intelligence & Body Literacy - Interoception - Ability to track and name sensations - Somatic trauma imprints - Body-based memory and metaphors - Relationship coherence of embodied emotion 10. Ancestral Lineage & Epigenetic Legacy - Ancestral grief - Patterns repeated across generations - Inherited survival adaptations - Lineage-based shame - Cultural rituals, land memory, spiritual continuity

  • 11. Environmental Influence & Place-Based Disruption - Connection to land - Climate grief - Toxic exposures (e.g., chaotic population proximity, chemical, nano tech, frequency warfare, etc) - Seasonal affect - Displacement from home and/or homeland 12. Technological Interface & Dissociation Load - Digital overstimulation - Parasocial bonds - Disembodiment through digital life - Surveillance trauma - Media-induced moral injury & energy harvesting 13. Reparative Access & Imagination Capacity - Experience of joy, awe, or wonder - Play, creativity, erotic energy - Dreams and visions - Cultural permission to rest or create - Future-self coherence - More than human systems-resiliency / spirituality 14. Polyvagal Patterning & Nervous System Tendencies - Baseline vagal tone - Default trauma state - Co-regulation and repair cycle vs. rescue triangle - Environmental sensitivity - Somatic safety anchors 15. Colonization Fatigue & Cultural Performance - Navigating multiple marginalizations - Coded behavior or social masking - Belonging vs performance - Hypervigilance in dominant spaces - Internalized oppression - Safety fractals

Healing Experiences of Attachment Repair and Transformation HEART is not about fixing yourself-it is about working with what is already happening. Right now. As it is. In your body, in your relationships, in your patterns. Healing is not a straight line; it is a return to honesty, safety, and connection. In this model, the healing moment is not always big or dramatic-it might be telling the truth, saying no, letting yourself rest, or being seen in something tender. These are not small things. They are acts of equity in a system (your system) that may never have felt fair. Witnessing what is-without trying to change it-is how transformation begins.

  • Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) Attachment Response Mastery Symptomology - Purpose: Increase somatic and relational awareness of survival responses - Identify: Which response pattern is most dominant in me today/this week? (Flight, Fight, Fawn, Freeze, Fracture) - Track: What are the physical, emotional, or behavioral symptoms I notice?

    - Name: What is the origin or layer of this response? (Personal, Ancestral, Developmental, Cultural, Morphic - check DECODE ecosystem elements)

Decolonized Expanded Clinician Overview of Dynamics and Ecosystems - Purpose: Cultivate clarity about internal and external systemic influences - Discern: What is true for me in this moment (even if it contradicts what others see)? Is this reaction mine, inherited, or environmental?

  • Healing Experiences of Attachment Repair and Transformation - Purpose: Repattern the nervous system through lived, reparative micro-moments - Engage: In one INTENTIONAL co-regulated experience this week. What might that look like? - Repair: Reflect on one relational moment that felt misattuned or incomplete. Jot your notes here:

    - Allow: How can I stay in contact with this part without judgment - witness w/o action? - Anchor: If my body had full say today, what would it ask me to stop or start doing? Practice one self-soothing or containment ritual. Jot your notes here: - Transform: Create one new experience of agency or boundary (coherent Self-devotion What does this mean to you? - Permission Slip: Write one statement that gives you compassionate allowance

  • (PRESENT TENSE FOCUS & ACTION)

  • - Bring this sheet to session with any notes or checkmarks (or email/text to me in preparation) - Designed to work with your natural sensitivity-not against it - No perfection required-just notice, name, and allow

  • "No part of you is wrong. Every reaction had a reason. Healing is not becoming someone else-it's becoming someone safe enough to welcome every part home." The PARTSnership Process
