2025 Arabian Horse Association Judges Evaluation Re-Test Registration

NOTE: Please check your USEF portal to make sure your checklist is up-to-date and all apprentice evaluations are uploaded before you apply for Judges’ Evaluation.

• The Arabian Horse Association Judges’ Evaluation/Testing will be held in Scottsdale, AZ December 5th-7th. We are planning a small online component as part of the testing with everything else in-person.
  
  
• The re-test option is only available to those who failed their Evaluation in 2023 or 2024 and whose apprentice experiences are within the time parameters required. Contact the AHA Judges & Stewards Office with any eligibility questions.
  
  
• If the letter you received after the initial Evaluation indicated you need to do the live-judging and interview, but not the video and rules testing, then December 6th and 7th are the dates for you to be in attendance.
• If you are required to repeat all parts of the Evaluation, then the Dates of December 5-7 apply.

• RE-TEST REGISTRATION FEE:  $250 (Non-Refundable). Deadline is November 10, 2025.  Applications received after this date will NOT be accepted. 

• Refund policy: full refund, minus any credit card processing charges, if the applicant cancels on or before December 4th.  No refund after December 4th. 

• Location:  Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix-Scottsdale, 4415 E. Paradise Village Parkway South, Phoenix, AZ  85032.  602-765-5800 Participants are responsible for making their own hotel accommodation, including reservations and payment. Cut-off date for the AHA $179 room rate is November 10th. Please use the link on AHA website to the Embassy Suites to reserve a room.

• Registration for AHA Evaluation/Testing registration will be at the hotel from 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5th with a non-compulsory orientation session Thursday evening at the hotel at 7:00 p.m.  Lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday.

• Saturday will be live judging, with transportation from the hotel to West World and a farm venue provided.  Box lunch will be provided.

• Interviews will be on Sunday, starting at 8:00 a.m. Times will be sent after all applications have been received.

• More specific information about the testing process will be sent once all your information is verified and you are officially accepted for testing.

The foregoing application constitutes an agreement that I, the applicant, whose signature appears hereon, am subject to and shall be bound by the Constitution, Bylaws, Resolutions and Rules and Regulations of the Arabian Horse Association (AHA); that I shall accept as final the decisions of the Education/Evaluation Commission and Judges & Stewards Commissioner with respect to this application and profile; and, that I shall hold AHA, its officers, agents, directors, employees, including the Judges & Stewards Commissioner, harmless from all liability in connection with any action taken with respect to this application and profile. I further agree that the construction and application of the Constitution, By-laws, Resolutions and Rules and Regulations of AHA and this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado; and, that any suit brought against AHA by the undersigned shall be brought only in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado or in the District Court in and for the County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado.

By signing this application, I agree that the confidentiality of all evaluations and submissions regarding my application shall be maintained under Resolution 5-90 and I hereby waive and release any right to examine my file except as may be provided by Resolution 5-90. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the AHA, the Education/Evaluation Commission, the Judges & Stewards Commissioner, and any of their officers, agents, directors or employees, as well as AHA judges, stewards and members, from any and all claims, including claims for negligence, regarding this application and any action taken regarding it. I have read and understood Resolution 5-90, the Requirements for Approval & Classification of AHA Recognized Arabian Judges, the AHA Handbook, and agree to be bound by them.

By signing this application and profile, I further agree that I will voluntarily and fully cooperate with the Judges & Stewards Commissioner, including any person working for or on behalf of the Commissioner, in the course of any investigation conducted by the Commissioner. I agree that the granting, renewal, and/or continuation of my license is conditioned upon my full and complete cooperation in any such investigation, including, but not limited to, providing true and complete information to the Commissioner, whether orally or in writing, and making available to the Commissioner all documents, records, writing or other things of any kind or nature which are in my possession or to which I have access, which the Commissioner determines are related in any way to the investigation. I agree that my failure to cooperate in any such investigation will result in my removal from the AHA Recognized Arabian Judges List.

Applicant acknowledges that the decisions of the Education/Evaluation Commission (“EEC“) are, in part, subjective. Applicant hereby agrees to be bound by any and all decisions of the EEC relating to their individual situations and further acknowledges and agrees that the only process of appealing any EEC decision is to return to the school/seminar the following year.
