1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that participation in Nerf battle activities hosted by Kingdom Kombat is a potentially hazardous activity. I acknowledge that such activities may involve running, jumping, dodging, physical contact, and the use of toy blasters and foam darts which could result in serious injury, disability, death, or property damage. I further acknowledge that these risks may result or be compounded by the actions, omissions, or negligence of Kingdom Kombat staff, volunteers, or other participants.
2. While Kingdom Kombat strives to create a safe and fun environment, I acknowledge that these risks cannot be entirely eliminated.
3. Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in Kingdom Kombat events, I, for myself, my heirs, and assigns, hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Kingdom Kombat, its owners, officers, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, and causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, or damages that may occur during my participation. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries caused by negligence, misuse of equipment, or unforeseen health issues.
4. Assumption of Responsibility
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in Kingdom Kombat activities with full knowledge of the risks involved. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from my participation. I agree to follow all safety rules, listen to staff instructions, and disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may impact my ability to safely participate.
5. Medical Fitness Declaration
I declare that I am physically and medically able to participate in Nerf battle activities. I have either received clearance from my physician or have chosen to participate at my own risk. I agree to immediately stop participation and seek medical attention if I experience any signs of distress such as dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath.
6. Photography and Media Release
I grant Kingdom Kombat permission to take and use photographs or videos of me during the event for promotional or marketing purposes, including social media, websites, and print materials. I understand I will not receive compensation for the use of these images. I may opt out by providing written notice to Kingdom Kombat before the event.
7. Acknowledgment of Infectious Disease Risks
I acknowledge the contagious nature of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure that may result from my participation. I agree to follow all health protocols implemented by Kingdom Kombat. I will notify staff if I show symptoms or have been recently exposed to an infectious disease prior to attending the event.
8. Behavior and Conduct
I agree to follow all rules, safety guidelines, and codes of conduct set by Kingdom Kombat. This includes respectful behavior toward staff and participants, and refraining from roughhousing, inappropriate language, or unsafe conduct. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
9. Responsibility for Personal Belongings
I acknowledge that Kingdom Kombat is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to the event. I accept full responsibility for securing my belongings.
10. Parental Consent for Minors
If signing on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and that the minor has my permission to participate in Kingdom Kombat activities. I accept all risks on their behalf and agree to release Kingdom Kombat from liability as outlined in this agreement.
11. Consent to Emergency Medical Treatment
I authorize Kingdom Kombat staff to administer first aid or seek emergency medical care on my behalf in the event of an injury or medical emergency. I understand that I am financially responsible for any related expenses.
12. Agreement and Signature
I have read and understand this waiver and release of liability. By signing below, I voluntarily give up my right to hold Kingdom Kombat legally responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during participation in any Kingdom Kombat event or activity.
