Who we are:

Kits by Food Craft curates virtual and in-person experiences. We are passionate about promoting cultural appreciation through food, drink, and craft events! Our mission is to create joy and connection through shared experiences.

- In Person Experiences: All-inclusive, on-site events in New York City

What we're looking for:

VIRTUAL HOST: We seek warm, friendly, and encouraging hosts to support our live experiences. Think of this role as being an emcee, supporting the instructor and overseeing the event. It's important to bring a light, fun personality and to think on your feet! The host is responsible for making sure that the event runs smoothly. Comfort with online video meeting platforms and audio/video set up is essential, being tech-savvy is a must!

VIRTUAL INSTRUCTOR: We seek confident, articulate and charming instructors to lead our virtual, live experiences. This person teaches the craft, food, or drink activity. They must be able to explain and demonstrate the task with clarity. This role requires the candidate to have an organized station from which they can teach the class undisturbed (e.g., a clean kitchen, desk set up, or counter space).

ON SITE FACILITATOR: We seek confident, articulate and charming instructors to lead our in person, live experiences. This person teaches the craft, food, or drink activity. They must be able to explain and demonstrate the task with clarity, while guiding and managing a room full of people. This role requires the candidate to travel to the event location.
Remote Event Host Wages:

$60/event - 1 hour (plus: 30-minute pre-event and 15-min post-event)
$20/hour - alignment meetings and initial 8 training hours
All events include auto-gratuity

Remote Instructor Wages:

$125/event - 1 hour (plus: 30-minute pre-event and 15-min post-event)
$20/hour - alignment meetings and initial 8 training hours
All events include auto-gratuity

On Site Event Facilitator Wages:

$200/event + gratuity - 1 hour event (plus: 1 hour pre-event set up, 30-min post-event breakdown and learning the activity on your own time)
Additional compensation will be required for events outside Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn
