Shoreline Virtual Exhibition

We look forward to sharing your work with other quilters. Please submit just ONE photo for each quilt you made. If you made more than one quilt, submit a separate entry for each one.

We will share a link to the Virtual Exhibition on our website and our social media channels once it opens. Submissions received after the opening will be added periodically. Thank you.

IMPORTANT PHOTO DETAILS

We reserve the right to edit and crop photos as needed for the exhibition.

Each image will be captioned automatically using the filename of the photo you upload. Please name your file how you would like the caption to appear (e.g. your full name, first name, initials, etc.) Some filenames are automatically changed to numbers by the system; this is something we can't control. If you give your file a specific name but it shows up in the gallery as "32344223.jpg," we are unable to change it.

Examples:

If you upload a photo with a default filename such as IMG_9194.JPG, the caption will simply be IMG_9194. It will not be captioned with your name.

If you upload a photo named Bill Kerr.jpg, Bill-Kerr will appear as the caption (a dash may replace any spaces).

If you upload a photo named Bill.jpg or BK.jpg, the caption would be Bill or BK.

If you name your file Bill but it shows up in the exhibition as "32344223.jpg," we are unable to change it, we are sorry but it's a system quirk we can't control.

CONFIRMATION

You will see a Thank You message on screen as soon as your photo has uploaded. In addition you will receive an automated confirmation email within a few minutes. If you don't see it in your inbox, it's probably in your junk folder.

Given the anticipated number of submissions, we are not able to respond to individual questions about submissions or change filenames after you submit them or if our system replaces your caption with a number.

By clicking submit, you give Modern Quilt Studio permission to edit your submission as needed and publish it in the virtual exhibition, on social media or elsewhere. thank you for sharing your work and inspiring other quilters.
