  • Membership

    • Membership is subject to approval by R Fitness Notre Dame.
    • Members under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
    • Members 15 – 18 years old require parent/guardian consent.
    • Membership, types, and benefits may vary and are subject to change.

    Rules and Regulations

    • Members must comply with all gym rules, policies, and guidelines, including safety instructions and proper equipment use.
    • R Fitness Notre Dame reserves the right to refuse access or terminate memberships for any breach of these terms.

    Liability Waiver

    • Members assume all risk of personal injury, death, or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care.

    Payment and Fees

    • Members agree to pay all applicable fees, charges, and taxes for their selected membership type.
    • Late or returned payments may be subject to additional fees.
    • Members may cancel their membership by providing written notice according to the terms stated in the membership agreement.
    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation policy.
    • R Fitness Notre Dame reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
    • Replacement swipe cards due to loss or damage are subject to a fee of $20

    Miscellaneous

    • These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba.
    • If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

     

    Gym Cancellation Policy

     

    Membership Cancellation

    • Members may cancel their membership at any time with 7 days' written notice.
    • Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or in person.
    • No refunds will be provided for partial months. The membership will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

    Refunds

    • Refunds will not be issued for canceled memberships unless otherwise stated in a special promotion or membership agreement.
    • Refund requests may be considered in cases of medical emergencies.

    Termination of Membership

    • The gym reserves the right to terminate memberships for repeated violations of the cancellation policy.
    • Termination due to policy violations will not be eligible for a refund.

    Please note:  If your membership is cancelled or terminated, your swipe card must be returned. A $20 fee will be charged for cards not returned.

    Rules and Regulations

     

    General Conduct

    • Respect fellow members, staff, and equipment at all times.
    • No disruptive behavior, loud noise, or inappropriate language.
    • Use headphones for personal music and phone calls.

    Membership and Access

    • Unauthorized guests are not allowed unless permitted by management.
    • Members under 15 must have parental consent.

    Equipment Usage

    • Wipe down equipment after each use with provided cleaning supplies.
    • Return all weights, dumbbells, and other equipment to their designated areas.
    • Do not monopolize equipment
    • Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately.

    Safety and Health

    • Always warm up before exercise and use proper form to avoid injury.
    • Proper gym attire is required at all times (e.g., athletic wear and closed-toe shoes).
    • Members are responsible for their own health and safety during workouts.

    Facility Rules

    • Cubies are provided for temporary storage during workouts. The gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
    • No food or drink (except water) is allowed in workout areas.
    • Sauna must be used with care, following posted rules.

    Termination of Membership

    • Membership may be revoked for repeated violations of the rules.
    • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by management.
  • Should be Empty:
