To qualify as a Royal Class member:
- Petitioners must submit a proven and unbroken lineage from a Scottish King. There is a genealogist fee of $5 per generation submitted for review.
To qualify as a Hereditary Class member:
- Petitioners must submit a proven and unbroken lineage from a Scottish family who lived in Scotland for a minimum of three generations. There is a genealogist fee of $5 per generation submitted for review.
Types of files accepted:
- GED files are preferred, but not required.
- Images of sources may be helpful for certificates and rare material.
- Documentation of events after 1950 may be omitted.
- Will accept: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
