  • Shareholding Details

  • Number of Shares

Check with us if you're not sure, but most small business companies usually have around 20-100 shares.  This allows you to transfer/sell shares to other parties in the future, for example if you wanted to take on a new investor.

  • You can view more info on this on the ASIC website - https://www.asic.gov.au/for-business-and-companies/companies/company-share-and-shareholder-rules-and-changes/company-share-issues/

  • Share Issue Price

In most cases for a small business company the shares will be issued for a nominal amount, eg $1.00 per share.  This amount will be paid by each shareholder once the company is established.

  • Company Addresses:

The registered office address must be a physical address.  If you do not have an office/business premises then this is usually your residential address.

Note, this will become publicly available information on the ASIC database.

  • ASIC Registered Agent

If you like, you can appoint Wingr to act as your Registered Agent with ASIC.  This means we are the first point of communication for your company with ASIC and receive any correspondence including your Company Annual Review documents.  This is optional and if you choose not to appoint Wingr, then the all correspondence will be sent to the registered office address.

If we are appointed as your Registered Agent, you can also choose to list our office address as the registered office address for the company.
