John Knox Ranch | January 16-18, 2026 Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join us for a Weekend Retreat to John Knox Ranch in Fischer, TX. We will depart after school on January 16 at 5:00p and return late afternoon on Sunday, January 18. This retreat will fulfill the formation requirements to be confirmed or received by Bishop Ryan on May 17, 2026. This is the only class/opportunity for Youth Confirmation Prep for 2026. That said, your youth does NOT need to be "sure" they are ready for confirmation to attend the retreat. We view this as a discernment retreat - a time to explore Christianity, generally, and the Episcopal Tradition, particularly. It's a time for curiosity, questions, and community. The weekend will include teaching on what Confirmation is, the basics of the Bible, the Sacraments, Episcopal History and Identity, and Spiritual Practices to maintain an active faith throughout life. Between learning sessions, we'll enjoy fun camp activities, campfires and s'mores, and worship. Please register ASAP and no later than December 17 to save your spot. The cost is $200 per student, which includes: transportation, lodging, meals, a study Bible, and a Book of Common Prayer.
