BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) is a spiritual, volunteer-driven organisation dedicated to improving society through individual growth by fostering the Hindu ideals of faith, unity and selfless service.

It strives to serve communities, families and individuals, young and old, by caring for their spiritual, cultural, social, physical, emotional and educational needs, by inspiring all towards a pure and peaceful way of life filled with character, love, respect and harmony, free from addictions and vices, and rooted in the values of coexistence and service.

For BAPS volunteers, the concept of seva (selfless service) means not just volunteering time or donating money, but being motivated by a spirit of service to sacrifice for the greater good of the community and the world.

Where: St. Catherine's Park, Lucan, Co. Dublin

Timings

Breifing: 11.00am to 11.30am

Walk Begins from: 11.30am Onwards

Assembly Point: Overflow Car Park

Registration Donations:

Adult Over 18 Years, Donation: €10 Per Person*

The Marie Keating Foundation is an Irish cancer charity focused on raising awareness and providing support for cancer prevention, early detection, and survivorship. It was established by the Keating family in memory of their mother, Marie, who passed away from breast cancer in 1998. The foundation offers free information and support services, including mobile units, community outreach, and workplace education. Its mission is to ensure that families in Ireland don’t have to go through cancer alone.

Responsibility and Safety
- I will act responsibly and sensibly at all times, following any instructions and safety warnings provided.
- If I am unclear about any health or safety matters, I will seek clarification from a BAPS volunteer.
- I will respect the flora and fauna of the park premises, keeping it clean and tidy.
Liability
- I understand that BAPS will not be liable for any injury or damage etc. I may suffer due to conditions, acts, or omissions beyond their reasonable control.
- I will not hold BAPS responsible for actions of misconduct or omissions by any other individual, group or organizations.
- I understand that BAPS Ireland is/will not be responsible for any belongings lost during the event also will not be responsible for any theft, damage or loss of my property.
Ethics
- I will not attend the event if I am under the influence of any non-prescription drugs, or any intoxicants.
- I will not attend the event if I am under the influence of alcohol, and I will not consume any alcoholic beverages during event.
- I understand that consumption of tobacco, smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in the park.
Parental Responsibility
- If I am a parent, guardian, or carer of children participating in this event, I am directly responsible for their safety, supervision, care, and well-being.
Health and Fitness
- BAPS is not qualified to determine if I am fit to participate safely. I will seek professional advice from my doctor if there is any doubt about my fitness to participate.
- If I may have tested positive for Covid-19 or show any symptoms of Covid 19, I will inform the BAPS Team and avoid attending the event.
Duty of Care
- BAPS is a charitable organization run largely by volunteers. Any duty of care owed by BAPS will be judged by the standard of a reasonable ordinary person, not a professional standard.
Attendance
- I accept that my attendance is entirely voluntary and at my own risk.
Consent
- I consent to BAPS taking photographs and videos of me and any children under my care for showcasing or promoting its activities.
- I consent to BAPS processing, storing, and using data related to me in connection with its activities.
