  • Welcome to LACC's 2025|26 Season! Through this form, you will provide all information needed to register your chorister for LACC programs for the upcoming season.

    To register your chorister for the 2025|26 Season, please:

    • Complete this Registration Form by Friday, July 18.
    • Pay your non-refundable registration fee (registration fee will be refunded to financial aid applicants who decide not to enroll after financial aid awards are determined).*
    • If applying for need-based financial aid, submit the separate Financial Aid Application no later than Friday, July 18. Financial aid decisions will be communicated by Monday, August 4.
    • Activate your Chorus Connection account (for new families only; more information will be emailed to you within 3 business days of receipt of your completed Registration Form).
    • Make your initial tuition payment no later than Friday, August 15 (more information is available in the tuition section of this form).

  • For juniors or seniors requesting a sabbatical from one ensemble during the fall semester, please choose the ensemble(s) you intend to join for the fall, and contact us at enrollment@lachildrenschorus.org with your request.

    Choristers invited to multiple ensembles should choose the combination of ensembles they prefer, keeping in mind that treble voice singers in 9th and 10th grade must enroll in Concert Choir, and all singers enrolling in Chorale must maintain membership in a second "base" ensemble.

    Choristers receiving a conditional acceptance into Chorale or Chamber Singers should choose their ideal combination of ensembles.

  • First Experiences in Singing classes will be split into two age groups:

    Classes for 1st graders are offered on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:00 and 5:15 to 6:00. The class is a two-semester class, running from September 17 to November 19, and resuming in the spring from January 28 to April 8.

    Classes for 2nd graders are offered on Mondays from 4:15 to 5:00. The class is a two-semester class, running from September 15 to November 17, and resuming in the spring from January 26 to April 6 (no class on Presidents' Day).

    If we do not meet a minimum enrollment number for all class sections, we may consolidate classes.

  • Next Experiences in Singing classes will be split into two groups. Classes are offered on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:00 and 5:15 to 6:00.

    The class is a two-semester class, running from September 10 to November 19, and resuming in the spring from January 14 to March 25.

  • Intermediate Choir will meet on Monday evenings, beginning September 8.

    Due to anticipated enrollment levels, Intermediate Choir will likely split into two sections, both meeting on Monday.

    Group A will have rehearsal and musicianship class from 4:30 to 6:55pm, and Group B will have rehearsal and musicianship class from 5:20 to 7:45pm.

    The two groups will combine for performances, monthly Saturday rehearsals and other activities, and Monday rehearsals leading up to performances at the end of each semester.

    Please note that attendance for musicianship class is critical to a chorister's success, and choristers will have weekly homework assignments and written assessments at the end of each semester.

    It is essential that Groups A and B are a similar size, so we ask for your flexibility unless you have an irreconcilable conflict with one of the offered times.

  • Concert Choir will meet on Sunday evenings from 5:15 to 6:45pm and Tuesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:45pm, beginning September 7.

    Until completion of musicianship level 7, choristers attend musicianship classes on Sundays, either from 4:30 to 5:10pm or 6:50 to 7:30pm. Not all musicianship levels are offered at both class times. Musicianship class assignments and class times will be communicated before the first rehearsal on September 7.

    Please note that attendance for musicianship class is critical to a chorister’s success, and choristers will have weekly homework assignments and written or oral assessments at the end of each semester.

    Commencing September 7, Chamber Singers will meet on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Commencing September 8, Chorale will meet on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30pm.

    Unless they have already completed musicianship level 7, all Chamber Singers attend musicianship level 7 class on Sundays from 5:20 to 6:00.

  • Young Men’s Ensemble will meet on Sunday evenings from 5:15 to 6:45pm, beginning September 7. YME choristers also meet for sectional rehearsals and other activities approximately one Saturday per month.

    Until completion of musicianship level 7, choristers attend musicianship classes on Sundays, either from 4:30 to 5:10pm or 6:50 to 7:30pm. Not all musicianship levels are offered at both class times. Musicianship class assignments and class times will be communicated before the first rehearsal on September 7.

    Group A will have rehearsal from 4:15 to 5:15pm, and Group B will have rehearsal from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

    The two groups will combine for performances, occasional other activities, and for one rehearsal leading up to the performance at the end of each semester.

    It is essential that Groups A and B are a similar size, so we ask for your flexibility unless you have an irreconcilable conflict with one of the offered times.

  • Apprentice Choir will meet on Tuesday afternoons, beginning September 9.

    Due to anticipated enrollment levels, Apprentice Choir will likely split into two sections, both meeting on Tuesday.

    Group A will have rehearsal and musicianship class from 4:15–6:25, and Group B will have rehearsal and musicianship class from 4:50–7:00.

    The two sections will combine for performances, monthly Saturday rehearsals and other activities, and Tuesday rehearsals leading up to performances at the end of each semester.
