We, the undersigned residents, artists, educators, and supporters of the Lynchburg community, respectfully urge the Council to reconsider and reverse its decision to close Jackson Heights Art Studio as part of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 Budget.
Jackson Heights Art Studio is more than just a facility; it's a vital community space that fosters creativity, education, and economic development, and for some, it serves as a lifeline. Closing Jackson Heights Art Studio would:
