2025 Paw Crawl Event Liability Waiver and Release Agreement

I, the undersigned participant, in consideration of my participation in the BrightSide Animal Center's Paw Crawl 2025 Event, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and understand that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, illness, consumption of alcohol, and interactions with other participants and animals. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge BrightSide Animal Center, Roth Home (Roth-Zachry Heating Inc),Blacksmith Public House, Wild Ride Brewing, Cascade Lakes, and Bangers & Brews and their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively referred to as the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, including but not limited to, any injury, illness, damage, or loss that I may incur as a result of my participation in the Event.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, including but not limited to, any claims arising from my consumption of alcohol or my interactions with other participants and animals.

Medical Treatment

I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the Event. I agree to pay all costs associated with such medical treatment and to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to such medical treatment.

Alcohol Consumption

I acknowledge that alcoholic beverages will be served during the Event and that it is my responsibility to drink responsibly and to ensure my own safety and the safety of others. I agree not to hold the Released Parties liable for any injury, illness, damage, or loss resulting from my consumption of alcohol or the consumption of alcohol by other participants.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

I agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Event rules while participating in the Event. I understand that any violation of laws, regulations, or Event rules may result in my immediate removal from the Event without refund.

Photo/Video Release

I grant permission to BrightSide Animal Center and the Released Parties to use any photographs, videos, or other media taken of me during the Event for promotional purposes, without compensation or prior approval.

Binding Agreement

This Waiver and Release Agreement shall be binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and legal representatives.

I have read and fully understand this Waiver and Release Agreement and agree to its terms and conditions.
