    How the Virtual Competition Works
    Shortly after the registration deadline, teams will receive an email from 8 Count with:
    • Video upload instructions
    • Recording requirements
    • FAQs

    Once that information is sent, teams will have a 6-day video capture window to record and submit their routine.
    • Each team may upload one video.

    Video Submission Requirements
    • Video must be recorded in your own practice facility
    • Must be one continuous take with sound (no edits)
    • All four corners of the floor should be visible when possible
    • The program must own the rights to the video

    Results & Awards
    • Results will be posted on the 8 Count Productions website, Facebook, and Instagram on Sunday of the event
    • Score sheets will be emailed to all coaches after results are posted
    • Nations Champion Bids will be announced on Monday following the event
    • All awards will be mailed the Monday after the event

    Please note that all deadlines are firm. Registration, payment in full, and digital waivers must be completed by the deadline in order to participate.

  • General Rules

  • Timing will begin with the team’s first movement or sound, and end with the last movement or sound. There will be a 5-point penalty assessed for going over the time limit... No penalties for any routines under the time limit.

     

    -NOVICE routines: This division is for limited/non-stunting & tumbling teams. Teams in the novice divsions must not perform ANY stunts above waist level. Two leg prep is premitted. Back walkovers are the highest tumbling skill a novice team can perform. 

    -Judges & Score Sheets: A panel of knowledgeable judges will evaluate team performance. The Head Judge’s score will be used to decide placement in the event of a tie. Score sheets will be available 1 day after the event.
