Horseback Riding Activities
Acknowledgment of Risk – Horseback Riding:
I, {name}, understand that horseback riding involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of falling, being kicked, bitten, or otherwise injured by a horse, as well as the risk of injury resulting from the unpredictable behavior of horses. I acknowledge that these risks cannot be completely eliminated, even with the exercise of reasonable care by the riding instructor and staff.
Safety Guidelines – Horseback Riding:
I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the riding instructor and staff during the horseback riding lesson. I understand that failure to adhere to these guidelines may increase the risk of injury to myself and others.
Assumption of Responsibility – Horseback Riding:
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur during horseback riding activities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss.
Firearm Activities
⚠️ Firearm-Specific Warning: Firearms are inherently dangerous. Participation in shooting, target practice, or the handling of firearms carries significant risks, including but not limited to accidental discharge, ricochet, hearing damage, burns, property damage, bodily injury, or death. These risks exist even with the use of proper safety equipment, protocols, and supervision.
Acknowledgment of Risk – Firearms:
I, {name}, understand that firearm-related activities involve inherent risks as described above. I acknowledge that these risks cannot be completely eliminated, even with the use of proper safety procedures, equipment, and supervision.
Safety Guidelines – Firearms:
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by instructors, staff, and range personnel. This includes, but is not limited to: the proper handling, loading, unloading, and discharge of firearms; the use of eye and ear protection at all times; and adherence to all posted or verbal safety rules. I understand that failure to follow these rules may increase the risk of injury to myself and others and may result in my immediate removal from participation.
Assumption of Responsibility – Firearms:
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation in firearm-related activities, including but not limited to personal injury, permanent disability, property damage, or death.
Shared Terms
Release of Liability:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in any activities, including horseback riding and firearm-related activities, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the instructors, staff, property owners, organizers, or any affiliated individuals or entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in or as a result of these activities.
Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the instructors, staff, property owners, and affiliated individuals or entities from any and all liabilities, claims, or demands made by third parties arising out of my participation in these activities.
Photographic Release:
I grant permission for photographs or videos of myself participating in activities to be used for promotional or educational purposes by the instructors, staff, or affiliated entities.
Parental Consent (if participant is under 18 years old):
I, as the parent or legal guardian of {minor’s name}, hereby consent to their participation in the activities and acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this release form.
