Our event is on Saturday December 13th, 2025, this year! Vista Art Foundation, The Macabre Mysterium and Twisted Heart Puppetworks team up for the fourth year to bring you the North County Dark Xmas Market of Vista on December 13th, 2025 from 4-8:30 pm in Downtown Vista, CA. Inspired by the European Kristkindle Markets of old, we promise you a unique Christmas shopping experience that you’ll not forget! Save the Date! Saturday December 13th from 4 to 8:30pm at 110 N. Citrus Ave in Vista.

    NEW FEATURE: READ CAREFULLY- In addition to your vendor registration EACH VENDOR will need to provide their own battery operated lighting. If you DO NOT have this light (or something comparable) when you arrive to set up your vendor booth, YOU MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITHOUT REFUND. Each vendor is allowed other decorative lights in addition, but this one is a condition of participation in this event. We appreciate your cooperation. Please make sure this lighting system is purchased far enough in advance, so you have no issues with vendor set up on Saturday December 13th.

    If you have a passion for Christmas and a flair for the dark and unusual, this market is for you. We are currently seeking vendors, artists, and street performers! Vendors showcasing Krampus and other dark winter European folklore will be given preference. Vendors should have works with in the themes of:-Dark Christmas Folklore-Dark Christmas -Norse and/or Celtic Yule-Vintage Christmas-Krampus-Gothic Christmas-Oddities-Victorian or Dickens inspired-Halloween for Christmas-Nightmare before Christmas-Alternative Christmas-Punk Rock/Metal Christmas-Nature inspired-Fairy Realm Not sure if your wares are in theme? please email us! renet@pythonessfox.com

    • Ability to witness the Krampus Run

    Before applying for your space at Dark X-Mas Market of Vista, please be aware of additional vending requirements: 1. We expect all vendors to promote this event to the best of their ability, by posting on social media using the #darkxmasmarketofvista hashtag, email blasting your network, tagging @themacabremysterium , @thedarkxmasmarketofvista and @wildhuntersvista Instagram event pages, etc. 2. All vendors will bring their own tables, chairs and canopies. 3.This event will be rain or shine. 4. Space is limited and vendors selected to be featured will receive an email and invoice to follow shortly after registration has closed. Vendor payments will be due two weeks from acceptance.
