      Please note that I work Tuesday-Thursday and Saturdays from 11am-6pm. All appointments will be conducted within this time frame. On occasion I may choose to work outside of these days and hours, this is at my own discretion.

  • What to expect during a typical tattoo appointment

  • When arriving for your appointment you will come up the stairs to the waiting area. Here you will find a sofa and a desk. The desk will have a bell on it, please ring it to alert me of your arrival. Take a seat on the sofa, I will be out shortly to welcome you. 
    I will then take you to the IPad to fill out a consent form and check your ID if necessary.

    Once I am set up and ready, I will call you over to my station where I will begin by showing you your design and confirming size and location with paper print outs.
    After I will make a stencil.

    I will then spend sometime ensuring that the stencil best fits your body. This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours depending on various factors. These factors include, the size, location and complexity of the design. As well as if the tattoo is a custom project, a large scale project (like a sleeve or back piece etc) or if it needs to fill gaps between other tattoos. Sometimes some freehand drawing with a sharpie may also be required.

    After we are both satisfied with how a stencil is placed, we will both get comfortable to start the tattooing. Breaks may be taken during the tattoo session at any time for any reason. I will always try to communicate when the next planned break will be.

    Once the tattoo session is complete I will wrap your tattoo in cling film and leave it to settle for up to 30 minutes. On occasion a tattoo session may run past the expected end time. If this is the case I will indicate that more time is required as soon as possible and check that you are ok to continue. For this reason, especially for larger pieces and day sessions, I prefer that you do not have a time limit by which to leave. If you do, this must be communicated prior to the start of the appointment. If you have plans for after the tattoo session, it’s best to leave a 1-2 hour buffer period.

    Once the tattoo has settled down, I will take some photos and explain aftercare for your new tattoo.

    Then we will sort out payment for the session. Please note that I do not accept card. Cash or bank transfer only please.

  • The Legal Bits

    • Terms and Conditions  
      • I am over the age of 18 and can provide government issued photographic evidence of this. If when asked by my tattooist I cannot provide evidence, I will forfeit my deposit and not get tattooed. Please note: I will not accept a photograph of ID, it must be with you in person
      • I am aware that to secure a date for my tattoo, I am required to pay at least 30% of the cost of tattoo to be taken as a deposit
      • I understand that my deposit is non-refundable. If I choose to cancel my appointment entirely, I will not be refunded the deposit.
      • I understand that I can rearrange my appointment once and move my deposit to a new date only if I rearrange and give 3 days notice before my appointment. Any rearrangements after this point will require a new deposit and the old one will be forfeited.
      • I understand that deposits are not transferable to another person or design.
      • I understand that my deposit and the price quoted is specific to the design and style that was discussed prior to payment. Therefore if I change my mind or am unclear about any of these aspects and additional design work or tattooing time is required, then a new price will be quoted and a new appointment may be necessary. If this occurs then I understand that I may loose my deposit and be asked to pay a new deposit.
      • If I am late by 20 minutes or more, or do not show up to my appointment I will forfeit my deposit, and a new deposit will be required to secure a new date
      • I understand that on occasion a tattoo appointment may run past the predicted time slot booked. I am happy to stay until my artist deems the session to be complete.
      • If, for whatever reason, I need leave before my artist deems the appointment to be complete , without prior discussion with my artist, a new deposit will be required to finish the tattoo
      • If I have to leave my appointment by a certain time, I will communicate this with my artist prior to the appointment. If I do not, I understand that imposing a time limit on my artist half way through the session may impact how much of the tattoo can be completed and that I may need to book in for another appointment with another deposit to complete the work required.
      • I understand that additional charges may incur if the tattoo takes more sessios than initially quoted
      • I will avoid alcohol for 48 hours before my appointment (alcohol thins the blood and excessive drinking creates an unhealthy environment for tattooing)
      • I will avoid sun damage or injury to the tattoo site, and I will exfoliate and wash the area for a week prior to the appointment. Please note that if you come in with sunburn on the area to be tattooed, then I will not be able to tattoo you and you will lose your deposit.
      • I will not shave the area that is to be tattooed, or apply any creams or topical ointments to the area before the appointment
      • I will not apply numbing creams without prior discussion and disclosure with my artist
      • I will eat a full and balanced meal within four hours of my appointments start time
      • Following correct healing and aftercare is my responsibility. No legal action can be taken out against the artist or studio if my tattoo comes to harm during the healing process
      • It is my own responsibility to check the design and stencil of my tattoo including spelling, numbers and numerals, and translations before the tattoo commences
      • I am of sound mind and body to be getting a tattoo, and I am not being coerced or pressured into getting a tattoo against my will
    • Artist’s Rights 
      • I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including for inappropriate behaviour or failure to follow policies
      • I reserve the right to use photos of your tattoos for my social media, portfolio, website, and marketing. Unless you state otherwise. Consent for this may be withdrawn at anytime.
      • I reserve the right to refuse touch-ups if I deem that that tattoo has faded due to improper aftercare or excessive sun/water exposure
      • I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel that a tattoo will pose a serious health risk to the client 
    • Privacy Policy

      Your personal information is used to respond to your enquiry and schedule your appointment. You may also choose to provide health information to help ensure a tattoo is safe and suitable for you. All data is treated as confidential, used solely for your appointment, and managed in accordance with my Privacy Policy, including the data retention period outlined therein.

    • TO WAVE AND RELEASE to the fullest extent permitted by law of the artist and the tattoo studio from all liability whatsoever, for any and all claims or causes or actions that I, my estate, heirs, executors or assigns may have for personal injury or otherwise, including any direct and/or consequential damages which result or arise, whether caused by the negligence or fault of either the artist or the tattoo studio, or otherwise.
