As part of Bellberry Limited’s ongoing support, they are proud to partner with the 2025 AABHL Conference to offer a grant of up to AU$2000 for ECRs/HDRs to enable travel to undertake or present research related to research ethics at the 2026 AABHL Conference.
Eligibility and Conditions:
· The applicant must be a current HDR candidate (PhD or MPhil) or an ECR (within 5 years of PhD completion).
· The scope of the proposed research for which travel is sought must be related to the area of research ethics. Travel must be intended to take place by 31 December 2026.
· A condition of receipt of the grant is for the successful applicant to make a presentation on their research to Bellberry staff and HREC members associated with Bellberry.
· Applications need to be made by 3 November 2025 and address the criteria below.
Announcement of and presentation to the Travel Grant recipient will take place at the AABHL Conference in Christchurch held 7-9 December 2025 (exact timings of this part of the conference programme will be finalised and updated on the AABHL Conference website soon.
Please address the following criteria (word limit of 200 words per heading):
1. Project description: please provide a description of the proposed travel and the research to be advanced related to that travel (e.g. attendance at a conference/event and description of presentation/participation) and an approximate breakdown of costs (e.g. registration costs etc).
2. How this grant will advance the research trajectory of the applicant: please provide a description of how this grant will, in the context of your previous and current research, assist in advancing your overall research track record.
