4th Annual Plantapolooza
Date: Sunday, January 25, 2026
Time: 12 pm - 4 pm
Location: Sunken Gardens (1825 4th St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33704)
Sunken Gardens is proud to host the 4th Annual Plantapolooza, a local botanical event dedicated to Florida native plants.
Originated by The Community Wildlife Corridor, this event seeks to connect the wildlife populations in our largest parks with backyard native gardens.
Plantapolooza is free with Sunken Gardens admission or membership. Last year's event featured native plant vendors, themed lectures, youth activities, and a remarkable free seedling giveaway.
We're looking for a variety of local vendors to join us in celebrating the importance and beauty of Florida's native plants. Vendors may include:
- Florida native plant nurseries & landscape designers
- Non-profits & institutions with conservation missions
- Small businesses that sell nature-focused homewares, clothing, or art that highlight Florida native plants, animals, & habitats
- Local businesses that specialize in garden decor and accessories
- and more!
Not sure if you'd be a good fit? Fill out an application anyway! We're open to new ideas and willing to consider a wide range of candidates to offer the best experience possible.
