Application Deadline - Saturday, July 25, 2026 by 11:59 pm
Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All winners will be notified on or before August 6, 2026.

Student Eligibility:

a.       High school graduating Senior Class of 2026

b.      CMBC Member who actively participated in the Youth Ministry

c.       Must show proof of enrollment in a two (2) or four (4) year institution of higher learning or trade school during the fall semester immediately after high school graduation and enroll as a full-time student.

Deadline Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026, by 11:59 pm. No paper applications will be accepted. All applications and supporting documents shall be submitted electronically to cmbcdivine9@communitymbc.org. Late applications and/or late submission of supporting documentation will not be considered and your application will be deemed incomplete.

Application Checklist:

1.       Complete online application (incomplete applications will not be considered).

2. Official copy of high school academic transcript(s) or last 2 report cards from the semester. The official copy of the transcript(s) or reports cards need to have a visible signature and/or official school stamp, seal or letterhead.

3.       Upload/scan ONE original essay that includes and answers the three questions listed in the application and that does not exceed 2 pages (Double spaced and 12-point font).

4.       Headshot of student (Does not have to be a professional photograph).

Method of Selection:

·         Applications will be screened by the selection committee.

·         The scholarships will be given to the students who best meet the eligibility requirements.

·         The scholarship is a one-time award and awardees will be notified of award amount if selected.

Scholarship recipients will be recognized at CMBC church services on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Application is open to CMBC high school seniors who graduated in 2026 and will be attending a 2- or 4-year institution of higher learning or trade school in the FALL SEMESTER following graduation.
If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
