The Mini-Grant Program is intended to support classroom teachers and staff by funding programs, projects or equipment needs that are outside the current District budget. Priority will be given to applications that:
- Align with the District's strategic plan
- Have a clear purpose and fill a specific need
- Are innovative
- Involve collaboration
- Demonstrate best practices
- Have lasting impact
- Have the potential to be replicated by other classrooms or schools
The Foundation cannot fund software requests.
This program is designed to be easy to access and quickly responsive to applicants' needs.
Your application must be approved by your principal or supervior prior to submission to confirm that your program cannot be funded by the District. An email of support from the building principal or supervisor to HawksGrants@gmail.com must show that they approve of the project; no grant will be considered without this confirmation of support.
Upon the award of grant funds, the applicant will be given a link to a brief report form. Please plan to include photos that can be used to promote our grant program as we raise additional funds. Quotes from students and/or parents would be welcome as well.
