Submitting a surrender request does not guarantee that Heart of Phoenix can accept your horse.

Surrender Guidelines

Standard Requests: A $500 donation is generally required to help cover immediate veterinary, farrier, and transport costs.

Financial Hardship: If you cannot afford this donation, please explain your situation in detail so we can evaluate how to help.

Critical Emergencies: The donation requirement may be waived for horses in critical condition whose owners cannot afford basic care.

Due to current economic and capacity limitations, we cannot accept every horse in need; however, we review every request and will help whenever possible.

Are you able to make a donation of at least $500 PLUS Transport or transport costs towards the equine's care? A donation helps us accept your equine(s) sooner, as this assure our required vet/farrier care is covered for the horse from the start. If you cannot donate, please explain the situation below, and we will do our best to see if we can help:
