In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking. The Little Mermaid Jr. rehearsals take place at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts on Wednesdays from 4:15pm - 5:45pm, following the Chicago Public Schools schedule. Please note this is NOT an acting class, but rather a performance class concluding with a Broadway style production of the musical The Little Mermaid. There will be rehearsal every week throughout the entire school year. If enrolling in this program you are committing to the entire year and the production. The entire live musical will be taught to your young actor and performed at Ruth Page Center for the Arts on May 15-16-17, 2026. 1026 North Dearborn Chicago. Tuition is $1,595.00 with payment plan options - 3 installments of $532.00 September 1, December 1, April 1 or 9 monthly installments of $177.00 from September 1 - May 1. The tuition includes rehearsals, a licensed script for your actor to keep, all costumes for the show designed for your actor, hair and makeup application on show days, a professionally taken 8 x 10 headshot of your actor, over 70 hours of training in voice, dance and acting. In addition an extra 30 hours of training the week of the show on the stage at Ruth Page that is complementary on May 11-12-13-14. (it is the parents responsibility to get their actor to Ruth Page after school on these days) If you have a child interested in performing, building self confidence and creating a lifetime of memories look no further this is the program for you!
