Lionheart Serve Team Descriptions
1. Parking Lot Staff --- First to greet arriving congregants and visitors. Direct parking and control the flow of the parking lot to ensure that the campus is secure by being attentive to church surroundings.
2. Connect Team --- Extend a warm welcome to guests as they step through the front doors, providing friendly assistance, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring they feel embraced and prepared to participate in the service. Greet the 1st time visitors after service, capture their contact information and answering any questions they may have before they speak with the pastors.
3. Usher Team (Keepers of the House) --- Smiling faces, providing direction and facilitating sanctuary seating. Liaison between the parishioners and the ministerial staff, being attentive to congregation and pastors needs, keeping the house in order and clean.
4. Children’s Church (Ages 0-2yrs, 3-5yrs, 6-11yrs) --- Serve with the children as a teacher in one of our children’s church classrooms.
5. Media & Video Team
A. Camera Crew --- Film and record every service for both in house and live. Producer is responsible for producing the live stream every service. Uploading the recording to the cloud after every service and ensuring the live is edited after service. Upload audio service to buzzsprout.
B. Digital Content Creation Team (Online & In house graphic design) --- Create engaging, creative content for all social media platforms.
C. Social Media Team --- (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) ---- Closely monitors all social media accounts, sending requested information from Pastor to followers and follow-up as directed. Commenting, scheduling & posting daily on all social media platforms.
D. Video Production and Video Editing --- Creating videos with professional mirrorless cameras, lighting, and music/sound. Video editing for use on all social media platforms and presentations.
E. Website Management & SEO --- Website: Maintain Lionheart Church WordPress website, create pages, upkeep website maintenance & ensure website security is maintained. Search Engine Optimization: Write and optimize blog posts on Lionheart website to rank in google search. Create descriptions for YouTube using AI tools.
F. Photography --- Take photos for all Lionheart Church services and events. Edit photos and submit to team lead in timely manner.
6. Lionheart Worship Team --- Ushers the presence of God in through song and musical instruments.
7. Lionheart Musicians --- Keyboardists, drummers, and guitarists for praise and worship and prophetic worship.
8. Inner Healing and Deliverance --- We use a simple but systematic approach when it comes to partnering with the Holy Spirit to bring about healing. The purpose of this partnership is to identify and destroy any spiritual legalities that are active in a person’s life, preventing the forward movement and success of their Christian walk.
9. Refresh Team (Includes Bathroom Maintenance) --- At Lionheart church we believe excellence honors God—and the Refresh Team lives that out in every detail. This behind-the-scenes crew helps create a clean, welcoming environment that sets the stage for life-changing moments. From spotless restrooms to refreshed lobbies, they reflect care, intentionality, and the love of Christ. If you love practical service done with excellence, the Refresh Team is for you!
10. Evangelism Team --- Our Evangelism Team strategically engages various locations in the metro Atlanta area for the purpose of interacting with
the community, personally inviting people to our gatherings and sharing the Gospel message of hope in the streets. Members of this team need nothing more than a heart for those far away from God and a desire to see new brothers and sisters reached and grafted into our spiritual family.
11. Baptism Team --- The Baptism Team serves at the heart of one of the most powerful moments in a believer’s journey—publicly declaring faith in Jesus Christ. This team ensures that every baptism is a sacred, seamless, and joy-filled experience for both participants and the congregation. Team members prepare the baptism area, assist candidates before and after their baptism, and help guide families and guests through the process with warmth and hospitality. Beyond logistics, they create an atmosphere of celebration and reverence—helping each person feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they take this significant step of faith. Whether behind the scenes or standing beside the water, the Baptism Team helps turn a moment into a lifelong memory of spiritual transformation and community joy.
12. Visual Media --- As a key part of the worship and communications experience, the Visual Media Team Member helps bring messages to life through screens, graphics, and digital storytelling. This role supports both in-service and online worship services by preparing media equipment before services (projectors, screens, streaming overlays, presentation software, etc.) and helping resolve technical issues quickly and calmly when they arise. They are responsible for taking the notes and presentation from the minister of the day and inputting them into our presentation application "ProPresenter." This is then formatted and arranged to be projected on screen for our audience, in person or online.
13. Administration Team --- Looking to make a difference behind the scenes? If ministry is a vehicle, administration is the oil that keeps all the moving parts running smoothly and effectively. They help maintain organizational flow, guide intra-team communications, ensure the success of ministry projects, and run the systematized features and channels of everything behind the scenes. Manage assigned individual Lionheart email accounts. Respond to requests, questions and provide direction as needed.
14. Audio Department --- The Audio Team brings clarity, excellence, and creativity to every word and note that’s heard—both in the room and across the world. This team is responsible for crafting an immersive sound experience that helps remove distractions and draws people into genuine worship and engagement. From mixing live sound in the sanctuary to balancing and broadcasting crystal-clear audio for online services, the Audio Team ensures that the message of Jesus is heard with power and precision. Team members work behind the scenes to manage microphones, instruments, monitors, and streaming audio, blending technical skill with a heart for ministry.
15. Events Team (includes Meal Prep) --- The Events Team turns vision into experience—transforming ideas into meaningful gatherings that bring people together and make every occasion feel special. From church-wide celebrations to intimate ministry events, this team handles every detail with excellence, creativity, and care. Team members help plan, prepare, and execute events from start to finish—coordinating logistics, setting up spaces, decorating, managing meal prep and hospitality, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Their goal is to create welcoming, well-organized environments where people can connect, celebrate, and encounter community.
16. Youth Ministry (For ages 14-17) --- A Youth Ministry Team Member helps guide the youth toward a growing relationship with Christ by creating a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment where young people can belong, believe, and become who God has called them to be. This role blends mentorship, discipleship, creativity, and leadership while supporting the overall mission of the church.
17. Lionheart Young Adult (For ages 18-25) --- A Young Adult Ministry Team Member serves as a mentor, encourager, and leader to help young adults (typically ages 18–30) grow in faith, community, and purpose. This role bridges biblical discipleship with real-life guidance, creating a space where young adults can navigate identity, calling, and spiritual maturity in a rapidly changing world.
18. Ministration for Holy Spirit --- The Holy Spirit Discipleship Instructor serves as a spiritual guide, mentor, and teacher, helping individuals understand, pursue, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit according to biblical teaching. They pray with individuals seeking to receive the Holy Spirit, offering encouragement, spiritual guidance, and practical steps rooted in the Word of God.
19. Marriage Counselors --- The Marriage Counselors Team walks alongside couples to help them build Christ-centered relationships that thrive in every season of life. Rooted in biblical truth and guided by compassion, this team provides a safe and supportive space for couples to grow in communication, trust, and spiritual intimacy. Through pre-marital sessions, marriage enrichment, and restorative counseling, team members help couples discover God’s design for partnership—equipping them with practical tools and spiritual insight to strengthen their covenant. Whether offering encouragement in times of joy or guidance through challenges, the Marriage Counselors Team is dedicated to helping marriages reflect the love, grace, and unity of Christ.
20. Follow Up Counselors --- Church Follow-Up Counselors serve as a vital bridge between a person’s moment of decision and their journey of spiritual growth. They walk with individuals through the first steps of faith, providing clarity, encouragement, and personal connection. They help people understand the commitment they’ve made, answer questions about salvation and discipleship, and ensure no one feels lost, forgotten, or spiritually unsure after responding to a message, altar call, or prayer. Follow-Up Counselors pray with individuals, explain next steps such as baptism, classes, or small groups, and provide resources to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. More than just volunteers, they function as compassionate guides—offering care, listening without judgment, and helping people move from a moment of decision to a lifestyle of transformation. Their mission is simple: every soul matters, and no one walks alone.
