Marengo Executive Coaching (“Marengo,” “we,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our digital coaching services, including our Slack-based AI coaching tool.

When you use Marengo’s coaching services, we may collect:

Your name and business contact information (e.g. email address, Slack username).
Messages you choose to send to Marengo’s Slack app for coaching purposes.
Usage data, such as timestamps, message volume, and types of topics discussed (aggregated and anonymized).
Information you voluntarily provide during coaching sessions or surveys. 

We do not store company Slack messages outside of the Slack platform.

We use collected information to:

• Provide coaching services and respond to your inquiries.
• Operate and improve our digital coaching tool.
• Generate anonymized, aggregated insights for corporate clients (e.g. trending topics, usage patterns).
• Maintain security and protect our systems to: 
  • Detect suspicious activity
  • Prevent misuse
  • Keep the service stable
  • Comply with legal requirements

Marengo follows industry best practices for data security and API integrations.

Marengo’s Slack-based digital coaching tool exchanges data securely with trusted third-party providers to generate coaching responses. OpenAI does not use any of your company’s data to train its current or future models. Data exchanged with OpenAI is used solely for generating coaching responses in real time and is not stored or reused for model training.

Marengo does not store or access your company’s Slack messages outside of the conversations explicitly conducted with our coaching tool. Companies receive only anonymized, aggregated insights, and no individual-level data or conversation transcripts are shared without explicit user consent.

Our Slack app uses OAuth and requests only the minimum permissions necessary to operate (such as sending and receiving messages with users who opt in). We do not access private channels or user direct messages unless explicitly added.

• All coaching conversations are confidential.
• No transcripts or individual-level conversation details are shared with your company.
• Companies receive only anonymized, aggregated insights to help identify general trends and coaching needs.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited data:

• With third-party service providers strictly to deliver our services.
• To comply with legal obligations or protect rights, safety, or property.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Access or correct your personal information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to certain types of data use.
