    Required: Premier-branded dance clothing. Dance shoes.
    Hair: Must be styled in a neat bun modelling good grromig to younger students.

    Role of the Student Teacher
    The acting teacher will generally lead the class.
    Your role is to assist students with technique and choreography.
    Occasionally, you may be asked to lead the class. In these situations:
    - Get the students’ attention confidently.
    - Clearly explain the next activity (technique or choreography).
    - Be commanding yet approachable.

    Corrections
    Help students improve by offering technical corrections.
    Always use encouraging and constructive language.

    Attitude & Engagement
    Be enthusiastic, supportive, and genuinely engaged with students.
    A positive and energetic presence inspires better learning.

    Discipline
    Maintain control of the class in a calm and respectful way.
    Set clear expectations for behavior and stay consistent.

    Student Communication
    Never yell at, embarrass, or belittle a student.
    Always model respectful and kind communication.

    Parent Communication
    Do not discuss a student’s progress with parents.
    If approached, politely refer them to the class teacher.

    Punctuality
    Arrive 5mins early and be ready to assist.
    Consistency and reliability are important parts of your role.

    Toilet Breaks
    Students must be accompanied by either a student teacher or teacher.

    Injury & Medical Concerns
    If a student reports an injury, immediately inform the acting teacher.
    Do not provide medical advice or treatment.
