Dear Provider,

As previously communicated, Sunshine Health has suspended all payments related to the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program, which includes expressive therapy services. This suspension is due to an internal audit currently being conducted by Sunshine Health. To date, no additional details or estimated timeline for the resumption of payments have been provided.

As a result, Hialeah Academy of Music cannot guarantee when—or if—payments for services rendered under the (HCBS) program will be issued. We understand this situation creates uncertainty, and therefore we are offering the following options to providers:

Temporarily pause all sessions under the Sunshine (HCBS) program until further notice, OR
Continue delivering and reporting services under this program, with full understanding that there is currently no guarantee of payment and no estimated reimbursement timeline.
