• Liability and Agreement: In order to ensure this festival is successful and is truely a comunity and family based event, please read and agree to the following section outlining the artist's responsibilities and agree to these participation terms and conditions::: It is standard practice for events of this type to outline content expectations clearly, and ensure that all participating artists are issued with clear written guidelines prior to the event. As all artworks are on, and will be displayed long term on public facing streets and byways, Artists will be asked to avoid the following in their artwork: • Any sexually explicit content • Religious iconography or messaging • Imagery involving guns, weapons, or violence • Drug references or promotion of drug use • Any other content likely to cause offence to the local community, particularly children. where necessary, should we feel its needed, artists agree to approve or adjust proposals ahead of time/on the day. Additionally, you fully accept that should Southampton City council feel any artwork breaches above conditions, the council has the right to request the removal of any artwork it considers inappropriate or offensive. As this is a charity based event, in aid of the incredible Noahs Ark Children's Hospice, and the outstanding work/help and care they supply to both children with terminal illnesses and also their families, artist agree to donate their time and supply all materials to complete their artwork for this event. Special Requirements, In order for this festival to be totally inclusive, please request any special requirements, eg, wheel chair access art space, a more auditory quiet art space, ect. We will do our utmost to accommodate your needs if possible.
• Public liability. Please confirm you have appropriate public liability up to £5 million, and should you be successful in securing a art space, you are happy to supply a copy of your insurance doc when requested.
