#11. To keep this program affordable, each of us will be helping out with household tasks, sometimes an hour a day. Are you willing to be part of that?
*

#13. Living in community, there will be a need for some rules and guidelines. For example, we will have nightly curfews (11:30pm) limitations on alcohol consumption, and food is only allowed in certain rooms. We also will have many times where the group needs to meet back at a certain time and we expect people to respect those times. Are you willing to abide by the community standards?
*
Yes, glad you run a tight ship
Rules are tough for me
I'd like to see the handbook
Real talk, I'm sometimes a bit late
#14. There will be times when space is tight in the vans, or seats are limited. How willing are you to take the worst seat?
*
I prefer the bad seat
I'm very willing to take a bad seat
I can do it occasionally
I need to sit in a certain place (i.e. front)
I prefer not to have the bad seat
#15. A huge part of this program is living in community and that means getting to know each other. This does not always come easy to people at first. We sometimes encourage students to sit with someone new, or room (hotel) with new friends. Are you willing to engage everyone on the trip? Talk to us about your feelings on that...
*
#16. Travelling abroad comes with a certain degree of risk. The leaders will do their best to be safe and prudent, but none of us can be guaranteed safety. Students should carry health insurance and any other insurance they deem necessary. Students may be held responsible for damages (say in a hotel). The study abroad program will not offer insurance coverage and has very limited resources. Do you understand and agree to this?
*
Please Select
Yes I understand
No, I'm not ok with that
#17. Over the years we've had some amazing groups and wonderful students. We've never had to send anyone home, but... if we had a student who would not respect the rules or the staff, we would send them home at their own expense. Do you understand and agree to this policy?
*
Please Select
Yes, I understand and agree
No, I'm not comfortable with that
This program is designed to appeal to both those who are academically inclined, and those who are less so. That said, it's helpful for us to know your most recent school, your level of education (e.g. graduated high school, e.g. 3rd year University, etc.) and also your more recent GPA. Can you give us those?
If you haven't been in school in a long time and forget just enter "N/A" or give us your best recollection.
#18. Do you have any questions for us?
Due to a high volume of applications we have begun charging a small non-refundable application fee. This helps us focus on those who are most interested in the program. We'll collect these applications and start interviewing Spring applicants early November, (Fall Applicants after Jan 1st).
