3. MAXIUMS King & Queen of The River - Heats ARENA NORTH Yacht Club
INDIVIDUAL EVENT FOR MEN OVER 16 INDIVIDUAL EVENT FOR WOMEN OVER 16. The ultimate test of endurance. Includes 3 solo events Kayak Sprint - Sand Shovel - Figure 8 sprint to finish - who will qualify as the fastest 3 for the final.
4. Great Northern Surf Rescue ARENA SOUTH 2
MIXED CREW OF 4 A ‘lifesaver’ paddles a surf ski using a shovel, along a set of rails to a ‘sailor in distress.’ Both are then reeled back by the remaining two crew members. It's all about time. Heats and Final. Medals presented.
5. Amentum Anchor The Boat ARENA SOUTH 3
CREW OF 8 Seperate men’s and women’s events. A Nautical ‘tug–of–war’ pull the boat over. Best of three (two nil no third), swap ends after each result. Knock out, winning team remains, wait till your team are the complete Achor The Boat Winners. Medals presented.

CREW OF 2 Separate men’s and women’s events Vessels are ‘paddled’ along a rail by a crew of two to a turning point. Crew change positions and paddle back to start. Heats and Finals. Medals presented.
7. Thrifty Sand Skis ARENA SOUTH 3
Race along the Todd River on water skis crew of 4 - Participation, which team will win their race. Medals presented.
8. Lasseters Kayak HEATS ARENA NORTH Yacht Club
ONE CREW PER KAYAK The kayak is carried to the turning buoy and back to the finish line. Fastest 3 from the heats for the final. This is the fastest water craft in the river.
9. Airport Development Group Mini-Yacht ARENA SOUTH
MIXED CREW OF 6-8 Mini yacht is carried to the turning buoy and back to the finish line. Participation - which team will win their race? Medals presented
10. NTG Boogie Board Challenge ARENA SOUTH 3
MIXED CREW OF 5 Four crew tow a boogie board, with the fifth crew sitting on the board, to a turning buoy and back to the finish line. Participation which team will win their race? Medals presented.
11. 8CCC Rugby on Deck (exhibition game invitation only) ARENA NORTH & SOUTH
5 a side full contact game on the deck of a boat = scrums, lineouts, rucks and mauls. Speed, agility, courage and fitness. The only way this match stops is 'Man overboard!" Medals presented.
12. Great Northern Tour de Todd - Human Hamster Wheel ARENA SOUTH
INDIVIDUAL EVENT A hamster wheel activity, where contestants race to a buoy, stop and return back to the finish line who will be the fastest. Participation who will win their race.
13. Lasseters Kayak FINAL ARENA NORTH Yacht Club
ONE CREW PER KAYAK The kayak is carried to the turning buoy and back to the finish line. This is the fastest water craft in the river. Medals presented.
14. KFC MAXI–YACHT ‘REG SMITH MEMORIAL CUP’ ARENA SOUTH
MIXED CREW OF 8–10 Maxi–yacht is carried to the turning buoy and back to the finish line. This is an impressive vision of a racing yacht in the Todd river. Participation, Medals presented.

MIXED CREW OF 8 The ‘Rowing eight’ is carried by a crew of eight to a turning buoy and back to the finish line. Medals Presented.
20. Maxiums Australia Cup (Invitation Only) ARENA SOUTH & NORTH
The annual race between Australia and the USA. Event by invitation only. JDFPG / NORFORCE / Australian Navy / DET421. Team USA aiming this year, three wins in a row. Medals Presented.
21. Maxiums Battle Boat Spectacular (Invitation Only) TODD ARENA
Driven by nautical ratbags and crewed by a motley assortment of Vikings, Pirates and Naval sailors. They battle out on the sand in the Todd's dry river bed with water cannons, water bombs, and colour. The winning battle boat is selected by the roar of the crowd.
