PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE
I grant The African Festival of Arts and Culture permission to use photographs and videos of me (or my child) at the Festival to promote the Festival, including but not limited to in advertising, social media, publicity, printed applications, online, presentations, and on their website. Furthermore, I understand that no royalty, fee or other compensations shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
As a participant in the African Festival of Arts and Culture and all related activities, including any activities incidental to such participation ("Volunteer Activities" or “performance”), the undersigned Volunteer, Performer or Parent/Legal Guardian of Volunteer or Perfomer if Volunteer or Perfomer is under age 18 (hereafter to using "/","me", or "my") releases and agrees not to sue the African Festival of Arts and Cultures or its officers, directors, employees, sub-contractors, sponsors, agents and affiliates ("The James Gang") from all present and future claims that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs, or assigns for property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death arising as a result of any participation in the aforementioned activities wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur.
I understand that participation in the Volunteer Activities or Performance involves certain risks, including, but not limited to, serious injury and death. I am voluntarily participating in Volunteer Activities or Performance I agree to accept all risks of participation.
I understand that this document is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the state in which the Volunteer Activities or Performance take place and agree that if any portion of this Agreement is invalid, the remained will continue in full legal force and effect.
I also understand that this document is a contract which grants certain rights to and eliminates the liability of the African Festival of Arts and Cultures.
