    We’re excited to launch Community Connections—a quarterly event series designed to bring parents, educators, and professionals together for meaningful conversations and practical tools to support today’s learners.

    Our Community Connections Series will be offered four times a year (September, late October, January, and April). This year’s focus is on supporting our children’s executive functioning skills and building healthy habits to help them become more confident, engaged, and independent.

    Guest Speaker:

    Farah Downs is a nationally certified school psychologist and the founder of Maitland Mental Health Co., a local private practice specializing in psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, and educational consulting for children, teens, and young adults.

    With a background in the school system and years of private practice experience, Farah helps kids and families understand what’s really going on beneath the surface-- especially when it comes to ADHD, anxiety, executive functioning, learning challenges, and school-related stress. She’s known for her warm, approachable style and her ability to turn complex psychological concepts into practical tools that truly work.

    Parents, educators, and professionals are all welcome.
