Program Overview:

STEMNETICS (based in Los Angeles, California) is excited to bring its Summer 2025 Enrichment Program to take place in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, providing elementary students with hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) experiences that promote problem-solving, creativity and teamwork.

Through interactive projects and physical activities, our program supports well-rounded development, ensuring students have a memorable and enriching summer that prepares them for future success in STEM fields.

Program Details:

Date: July 21, 2025 - August 1, 2025

Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Age Levels: Ages 4 -10

**PLEASE NOTE: 4-6 group has reached capacity. If your child is in that age range, you can still complete the registration request with the "4-6 waitlist" option under the age dropdown and be contacted if a spot opens up. PLEASE DO NOT REMIT PAYMENT UNLESS A SPOT IS CONFIRMED**

Program Objectives:

Inspiring Curiosity and Creativity: Students will explore STEM concepts through hands-on projects that connect real-world applications with classroom learning.

Physical Activity and Teamwork: Daily outdoor activities to promote fitness, collaboration, and social skills.

Community Engagement and Learning: Weekly field trips allow students to learn from local landmarks and experts, deepening their understanding of science and technology within their community.

Q: What is the camp location, drop off and pick up hours?
- Address: 3 Olu Holloway, Ikoyi, Lagos (Temple Road, Ikoyi)
- Drop-Off Time: 8:45 AM
- Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Pick-Up Time: 3:00 PM promptly

Q: What is the student-to-instructor ratio?
A: For ages 4–6, the ratio is 5:1; for ages 7–10, it is 10:1 to ensure personalized attention.

Q: What is the capacity of the camp?
A: For ages 4–6, 10 students; For ages 7-10, 15 students. Once capacity is reached we will close all registrations for the summer. Note: Registraiton is only confirmed once payment is received.

Q: What will students be doing?
A: The camp on a daily basis will focus on building a STEM project (eg. Airplanes, helicopters, circuits). Students will also learn about careers, the science behind each project and will then test the project (eg. does it fly, how to improve it). In addition, students will be doing physical activity through exercise and art & crafts projects as well. We want students to learn, exercise and improve their confidence within STEM by the end of the camp
