 Congratulations on choosing to become an ABLE PUBLISHING PRESS Author.

We are delighted that you have chosen to publish your book with us through our Business Owner Package. We hope that your experience of working with us is a positive one.

We work closely with our authors to ensure that each book journey reaches its highest potential. Keeping the lines of communication open throughout the process is important to us. In addition to this, your publishing deal includes the following:

• Copyedit and proofread
• Cover Design
• Typesetting
• Printing set up and print proof
• Global online distribution
• eBook setup and distribution
• Distribution to Australian and overseas (where possible) online bookstores via a distributor.
• Professional review
• Entry into an international book award contest.
• Books available to order at print cost.
• Overseas print management upon request.
• Online Launch organised
• Press release distributed and book promoted in ABLE Publishing Press channels.
• Permanent author web page on the ABLE Online platform
• 100 complimentary copies of your book.
• 2x1-hour mentoring sessions and ongoing guidance

 

Some terms and information:

•  We will prepare your book for production through cover design and manuscript layout, by signing this agreement, you are giving us permission to distribute your book through our distribution channels on your behalf.

• Images – any images that you have provided us with will also be approved when you sign, to allow us the necessary permission required to use any images provided in production and marketing.

•  Your book will be displayed in the distributor's catalogue, which is sent to Australia's leading bookstores for consideration of stocking it on their shelves.

• As the author, it is advised that you think of innovative ways to promote your book, we will offer you support with this and promote you through all of our channels.

•  We endeavour to create as many sales as possible but we cannot guarantee that your book will be a best seller or reach a set amount of sales. However, every opportunity to do so will be explored.

• We will provide you with as many extra copies of your book at cost price (the price which the printing house charges for production, shipping, handling etc) that you wish to sell yourself, we will not add on any further fees and all profits thereafter from sales are yours.

• You will retain all rights to your work.

• Profits through sales made through our distribution network are calculated on a half-yearly basis. Royalty payments are notified through an online statement and royalties will be made via direct credit for our Australian authors and via PayPal for our overseas authors. You will retain 90% of all royalties after print and distribution costs. 

• PR includes promotions to ABLE networks via social media platforms and email. 

• The Author agrees not to print, reproduce, or authorise the printing or reproduction of the Book, in part or in full, through any third-party printer or self-publishing platform without prior written consent from ABLE Publishing Press. 

• All physical copies of the Book must be printed and distributed exclusively through ABLE Publishing  Press or its approved printing partners. This ensures consistency in production quality, branding, and distribution standards.  

• You will have the option to set a launch period date. On this date, all sales accumulated through your launch period will be forwarded to you regardless of the royalty timeframe you are in.

 

Publishing Cost and Payments Structure:

The cost of this package is $15,500 incl GST.

We operate on the following payment structure:

• $500     Initial deposit upon signing of this agreement below
• $3500   Upon first edit
• $5500   When your book goes to print
• $5500   When you approve your print proof
• $1500    Before release and launch 

Total bal is $15,500 incl gst

Extra print copies can be purchased at print cost.

Refund Policy: All monies and deposits paid are non-refundable

In the rare instance of unforeseen costs presenting themselves, a meeting will be arranged to discuss this in an amicable way.

By signing this agreement, you are confirming that you are happy to commit to this publishing deal.

Credit Card Authorisation:
By submitting this form, you confirm that you are the authorised cardholder or have the cardholder’s permission to use this credit card for the payment of the Business Owner Package. You authorise ABLE Publishing Press and its payment processor (Stripe) to charge the full amount indicated for the selected ticket(s) or service(s). All transactions are securely processed and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the event’s terms and conditions.
