Join our FREE 8-week program to learn mindfulness, reflective, and practical exercises that share basic principles with Islamic coping strategies.
Our FREE Mindfulness Meditation Fundamentals Program is based on eight weekly sessions of 1.5 hours each. Our eight-week workshops for this cohort will run on Mondays from July 7th to August 25th from 5:30-7PM.
Our in-person program is at 330 Bronte St. South Unit # 201 Milton, ON.
Mindfulness meditation is an essential therapeutic technique to help relax the body and reduce stress. Empirical evidence demonstrates many benefits to mindfulness training, such as managing stress and pain and reducing depressive symptoms, providing psychological health benefits as a preventative intervention, and greater overall life satisfaction. Our program is designed to create a culturally anchored space for Muslim parents to improve access to psychoeducation, remove cultural stigma, build resilience, and positively impact Muslim parents' mental health and their family's well-being.
