I understand that wood restoration and refinishing may create dust, noise, odors, and permanent visual changes to the appearance of the wood. I acknowledge that natural variations in grain, tone, color absorption, and finish results are normal and expected. I understand that previously hidden damage (including but not limited to rot, water damage, mold, insect damage, structural weakness, or loose boards) may become visible during the restoration process, and remedial repairs may incur additional costs. I release Splinters & Glory from liability for cosmetic differences, uneven color absorption, minor surface imperfections, or changes in appearance that are inherent to the wood’s natural condition. I acknowledge that Splinters & Glory is not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed damage, or structural issues. I confirm that I am the legal owner of the property or have full authorization to approve work being performed. I agree to pay according to the estimate or invoice and understand that additional charges may occur if new issues are uncovered once work begins. This waiver does not release Splinters & Glory from acts of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. By signing below, I agree to these terms prior to work starting.
