  • ⚠️ Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) Disclaimer

To comply with U.S. online notary laws, all signers must complete a Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) identity check before notarization.

KBA is a secure verification method that confirms your identity by asking 5 multiple-choice questions pulled from public databases such as:

    • Credit bureau records
    • DMV records
    • Property ownership
    • Loan and utility history
    • Past addresses or vehicle registrations

🔵 For international signers, We offer alternative identity verification, such as:

    • Credential Analysis (CA): Government-issued ID scan
    • Biometric or visual confirmation: Real-time photo ID matching via webcam.
    • Manual ID verification by the notary (depends on platform settings)
  • ⚠️ KBA is required by law for online notarization; however, does not apply to foreign nationals who lack U.S. credit profiles
