To comply with U.S. online notary laws, all signers must complete a Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) identity check before notarization.

KBA is a secure verification method that confirms your identity by asking 5 multiple-choice questions pulled from public databases such as:
- Credit bureau records
- DMV records
- Property ownership
- Loan and utility history
- Past addresses or vehicle registrations
🔵 For international signers, We offer alternative identity verification, such as:
- Credential Analysis (CA): Government-issued ID scan
- Biometric or visual confirmation: Real-time photo ID matching via webcam.
- Manual ID verification by the notary (depends on platform settings)
